Reiki, which stands for "Universal Life Force Energy," is a Japanese practice that teaches us that we are more than the sum of our physical elements and that we are surrounded by Reiki as an energy body. The energy of Reiki connects with us on both a spiritual and an energetic level. Because energy is not affected by physical distance, distant Reiki sessions are effective. Due to the fact that distance is only a physical limitation, it is possible to conduct sessions with clients even if they are not physically present. We are all energy matter and are all connected. Reiki can be sent to anyone, anywhere, at any time; however, permission must be requested or received in some way before doing so.

By purchasing this distance Reiki session, you give me your permission to perform a remote Reiki healing session.

You don't need to do anything special to receive Reiki healing from a distance, but it's best to lie down and be as still as possible. The person receiving the healing can pre-arrange a time with the healer, and all they need to do to prepare is sit or lie down for the allotted amount of time (typically a half hour, or any other given time). There is very little difference between the effects of healing done by hand and healing done at a distance. Even if the patient is on the other side of the world from the healer, a level II or higher Reiki practitioner can channel healing energy to the patient. The energy transmissions are just as powerful when performed remotely as they are when performed in person, directly with the hands.
