The deck is THE SAME quality, the only difference is that the backs (all cards) have "shadowy" squares that are pretty much invisible in photos, and only can be seen in reality with a good light. If you don't know what to look for, you probably won't even see them.
The deck is in perfect quality, and what you see in photos is actually "defected" deck that I use myself :)
2ND option: defective deck has print stains or a scratch on the side (not fronts or backs), this version is with newer backs.

This is one of the most beautiful decks I own! The cards are just the right size for my hands. They have a wonderful satin smooth feel, the cardstock is sturdy enough to last for years while not being to thick to shuffle. The information on each card makes it simple to tap into the deeper meanings of each card. I absolutely love the addition of the moon phases and the nine realms with the Runes, this allows for a more expansive and detailed reading.
